At Ingenium we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

This English version is provided for convenience. Ingenium operates under Colombian law and the Spanish version of this document is the binding one.

1. Data controller

Ingenium (“we”) is the controller of the personal data we collect through ingeniumcareer.net and through our coaching and job search services. For anything related to your data you can write to us at careercoach@ingeniumcareer.net.

2. Data we collect

Sign-up and profile: name, email, password (encrypted), country, city, phone.
Professional: résumé, experience, education, skills, LinkedIn/portfolio links and job preferences.
Usage: applications, saved and viewed openings, coaching tasks and interactions with the platform.
Technical: IP address, browser type and cookie data (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Purposes

To provide and personalize our coaching services and job matching.
To manage your account, authentication and security.
To contact you about your process, support and service updates.
To improve the platform through aggregate, anonymous metrics.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process your data with your prior, express and informed consent, and in line with the applicable data protection rules (in Colombia, Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing decrees). By registering and using the platform you accept this policy.

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. We may share it with providers that help us operate (hosting, email, analytics) under confidentiality agreements, and with companies or recruitment processes only when you authorize it as part of your job search.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described here and our legal obligations. You can request its deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, update, correct and delete your data, and to withdraw the consent you gave. To exercise them, write to us at careercoach@ingeniumcareer.net or read how to delete your personal data.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data (password encryption, access control and secure connections). No system is completely infallible, but we work to minimize the risks.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force will be published on this page along with its update date.
